The Wee Cabin Company is seeking new employees who are familiar with carpentry techniques & would like to build Timber-frame structures. In this role, you will work on a variety of timber-frame projects, including cabins, sheds, saunas & outhouses. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools. Timber-frame experience not necessary.
As a Wee Cabin craftsman, you will be responsible for building & installing timber-frame structures. If this is your first foray into timber framing, you will be taught the building techniques needed to build structures.

Carpenter Duties & Responsibilities: (Click Here to see more details for this position)
- Build timber-frame structures, including cutting, fitting & installing timbers.
- Installs windows, walls, cabinets, stairwells, and other fixtures.
- Evaluate woodwork and materials for quality.
- Use tools, machinery, and other types of equipment.
- Follow local construction requirements and health and safety laws.
- Stand for long periods of time, climb, pull, and move big things.
- Must have vehicle for transportation.
- Employee will be asked to pickup & transport materials to job site.
Carpenter Requirements:
- A high school diploma is required.
- Strong communication.
- Physically fit and have good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift 120 lbs.
- Mathematical knowledge.
- Ability to carry out instructions
- Desire to learn new skills.
Wages & Benefits:
- Starting wage will be based on experience: $25/hour- $35/hour.
- Benefits: paid holidays, paid vacation, health care stipend, bonuses.
- 30-35 hrs./week. More hours available if employee is able to work on own,
